Hello

Most people don't fail because they lack motivation. They fail because no one ever gave them a framework that actually held up under pressure — and that's the gap I've spent 15+ years working in.

I'm Shilpa Kaushik, a Performance & Mindset Coach and Motivational Speaker, certified by Oxford and the University of Pennsylvania. My core belief is simple: potential is common, performance is trained. Motivation fades by lunchtime. Frameworks don't.

I work across three very different worlds, and each one has taught me something the others couldn't. In boardrooms, I've watched brilliant leaders stumble not from a lack of skill, but from a communication gap nobody named out loud. On campuses, I've watched a single conversation redirect a student's entire sense of direction. And in one-on-one rooms, I've watched a 45-year-old professional and a 12-year-old struggling with screen time need the exact same thing: someone to name the real block and build a way through it, session by session.

That's what I bring into every room now — with corporates, through diagnostic-first training built on your actual friction points, not a recycled deck. With schools and colleges, through programs that build clarity, confidence, and discipline before students ever hit a placement interview. And one-on-one, through focused coaching that ends in a plan you can run without me.

No slide marathons. No generic decks. Just what works, adapted to the room I'm in — because performance was never one-size-fits-all, and neither is how you build it.

My Story

I didn't set out to become a performance coach. I set out solving one problem at a time — in a classroom, a boardroom, and every conversation in between. Over 15+ years, I've sat on both sides of the table. I've watched a sharp team miss its targets not from a lack of skill, but because no one had taught them how to give feedback without it turning into a fight. I've watched a brilliant student freeze in an interview, not from a lack of knowledge, but because no one had ever taught them how to simply speak with confidence.

One moment stays with me. Early in my corporate work, I sat with a department head who was about to lose her best performer — not to another company, but to burnout. She'd mistaken "always available" for "always valuable," and so had he. We didn't fix it with a motivational talk. We built a simple weekly structure: what to protect, what to delegate, what to say no to. Three months later, he wasn't just still on the team — he was leading part of it. That's when I understood what I was actually building: not inspiration, but infrastructure. Also, there have been innumerable moments where my coached young adults and students have reached a balance in this not so balanced world!

That's what these years have taught me — potential is never the problem. Everyone I work with already has what they need. What's missing is a framework specific enough to follow and honest enough to name the real block.

So that's what I build, every time: diagnose the real gap, design something specific to that room, make it practical enough to survive a bad Monday, and send people away with a plan they don't need me to run. The audience changes — corporates, campuses, individuals — the method doesn't.

I'm Shilpa Kaushik, certified by Oxford and the University of Pennsylvania. After 15+ years, I've learned that people don't change from hearing the best speech. They change when someone hands them the right framework, at the right moment. That's the work I do now.
